Cypress Industries' Customer Appreciation Open House & BBQ turns largest crowd in company history

4th Annual CypressFest attracts more than 300 people from the high-tech industry in Austin for facility tours, homemade BBQ, drinks, live music and door prizes.

More than 300 people gathered at the Cypress Industries Austin headquarters for their 4th Annual Customer Appreciation Open House and BBQ on April 17th, 2008. Cypress Industries sponsors the annual spring event to show appreciation and give thanks to the customers, vendors and friends who continue to support Cypress's success.

Attendees of the event were able to take a guided tour through the facilities, ask questions, and see firsthand all the

capabilities and equipment Cypress Industries has to offer. The tour encompassed 20,000 square feet of design and product showcases,cable assembly and electronics production facilities, seven plastic injection molding machines, and a fully operational machine shop. This year the participants had the opportunity to see the newest addition to the facility, a fully operational clean room which allows Cypress Industries the ability to deliver products directly to clean room assembly facilities.

Although Cypress Industries' 15,000 square foot North Austin warehouse, product inspection/rework, and fulfillment space on Bratton Lane was not part of the physical tour, guests were still able to see that Cypress Industries has the capabilities to provide a true turnkey production solution.

Aside from facility tours, there was plenty of socializing and networking, homemade BBQ, live music, as well as cold beer and margaritas. The kids had a great time jumping on the moonwalk and there was a highly anticipated drawing for door prizes such as a GPS unit and two iPods.
