Cypress Industries product Gatorjaws® lands in major golf retail outlet

Gatorjaws® Club Guard gets picked up by Golfsmith for retail sales

Austin, TX - May 2, 2007

Cypress Industries in conjunction with RGO Enterprises announced today that the Gatorjaws® Club Guard product has been picked up for retail sale by one of the leading national golf specialty retailers, Austin-based, Golfsmith International Holdings, Inc. The product is now being offered in their 2007 spring catalog and will be on the shelves throughout Golfsmith's 68 retail outlet stores. The product idea was developed and patented by RGO Enterprises of Memphis, Tennessee and was funded, designed, and manufactured by Cypress Industries of Austin, Texas.

The Gatorjaws® Club Guard is a patent pending product specifically designed to prevent the theft of golf clubs and golf bags. Individual clubs can be easily taken from an unattended golf bag or even the entire bag can be taken with very little notice. The Gatorjaws® Club Guard teeth-like design clamps around all the valuable clubs in the bag, attaches to a stationary object with a steel security cable and is safely secured with a keyed padlock.

The insurance industry has reported an excess of $120 million dollars in golf clubs are stolen every year from unattended golf bags from places such as the golf course, from a car, truck or SUV, or at airports. Putters, wedges and expensive drivers are usual targets of the golf club thieves.
